I offer inspiring illustrator sessions for primary school kids!

I mosey along to your class and run fun-filled sessions where we talk about the books I have illustrated and the art of publishing. I can tailor the talk to focus on picture books or early readers.

My Sessions Include:

• About Making Books: An insider look into how books come to life.

• Talk About My Process for Art: A peek into my creative workflow.

• A Lesson in Style: Exploring artistic styles and techniques.

• Interactive Story-Time: Bringing stories to life.

• Get Me to Draw … Live!: Watch me create characters and scenes in real-time.

• Guided Drawing with the Class: A hands-on activity where everyone can join in.

Each school visit session includes:

• 2 hour class experience.

• A FREE copy of your choice of one of my books.

Available mornings or afternoons. Prices include travel within North Metro.

I bring a PowerPoint presentation loaded with drawing prompts and inspiration.
I also have a current ‘Working with Children’ certificate and appropriate insurance.

Price: $240 (up to 25 kids) Teacher must be present,

  Learn how to prepare thumbnails, rough sketches, layouts, and dummy books for your own picture book project. Bring a manuscript to work with for an even more tailored experience.

• Learn Procreate

  Unlock the power of digital illustration with my Procreate workshop!
  Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I’ll guide you through the essentials of this versatile app. From mastering basic tools and techniques to creating layered, polished artworks, my sessions are tailored to your experience level and creative goals.

  Together, we’ll explore brushes, colors, and composition, ensuring you leave with confidence and a portfolio-ready piece of art. Perfect for aspiring digital artists or those transitioning from traditional media—let’s bring your ideas to life on the iPad! (With this one you will have to bring your own iPad and Pencil.)

Some paper and art supplies supplied and workshops are held in creative, public and inspiring spaces.

I can prepare a fun-filled drawing, painting, or Procreate workshop catered to your group’s needs.
Drawing animals, Drawing mermaids? Entirely up to you!

• Art materials supplied. (except iPad Pro for Procreate)

• We go to a public space

Price: $55 per child (minimum of five children)

Suitable for children aged 5-14. Children will have to be dropped at location.
